🐶🌼 Providing longarm quilting services for Beth's delightful Dog Garden quilt was an absolute pleasure! Starting with a charming fabric panel as her inspiration, she let the project evolve, improvising her way through a bright and joyful mix of fabrics. The result is a quilt full of personality, color, and whimsy, created especially for her granddaughter.

For thread, we selected the soft and versatile Glide Linen, which blended beautifully across the wide range of cheerful colors in the quilt. It adds lovely texture and definition without competing for attention, allowing both the playful panel and Beth's creative piecing to shine.

Beth chose the Summer Breeze edge-to-edge quilting design, a perfect complement to the happy garden theme. The flowing movement of the pattern adds texture and movement throughout the quilt while keeping the lighthearted feel of the original design. It provides just the right finishing touch, creating a quilt that is cozy, durable, and ready to be loved.

One of my favorite parts of quilting this project was getting to "boop" all those adorable dog noses as the machine stitched its way across the quilt!

And then there was the backing! Beth created a beautifully pieced quilt back that was nearly a whole second quilt on its own. The lovely piecing and creativity she put into every part of this project made it especially lovely to work on, and it was such an honor to help bring her vision to life. Between the sweet pups, vibrant colors, and carefree spirit of the design, this was a very fun project from start to finish.

I'm so grateful Beth trusted me with another special project. Knowing this colorful, dog-filled quilt is headed to her granddaughter makes it even sweeter, and I hope it brings years of comfort, smiles, and plenty of puppy boops along the way! 🐾💕
