🦕Providing longarm quilting services for Beth’s Elizabeth Hartman Dinosaurs quilt was such a joy - her piecing was beautifully done, and the fabric so vibrant and fun! It was an honor to help bring this gift for her grandson to life with professional computerized edge‑to‑edge quilting, and a design plan tailored to both durability and comfort.

For thread, I chose the soft Mocha color by Glide that blended seamlessly into the background fabrics. It melts in just enough to let Beth’s piecing shine, while still adding that subtle, dimension and texture you get from high‑quality longarm work.

On the back, the mocha played especially well with the taupe tones in her fun pebbly blue backing fabric - a perfect match!

We selected the Veranda edge‑to‑edge design, which brings in a gentle, organic, plant‑like movement without distracting from the dinosaurs (who are absolutely the stars of the show). Medium density was the right balance for a quilt meant for daily use: secure enough to hold up to love, play, and washing, but not so dense that it becomes stiff.

I’m so grateful Beth trusted me with this special project. Helping her transform a lovingly pieced top into a finished, cozy quilt for her grandson is exactly why I love what I do!
